lights, camera, ACTION!

We are absolutely delighted to have our Chodge documentary feature in this year’s much-anticipated Resene Architecture & Design Film Festival.

For the past four years, the journey of the Chodge, a multiple award-winning holiday home, has been documented, capturing its journey from concept to completion.

The result is a stunning feature-length documentary about the design and building of a unique private holiday home in New Zealand. Darryl Church, founder of the practice, DCA Architects of Transformation, leads the narrative on this personal project, supported by his family as they give an insight into the making of a legacy home.

The world premiere will take place on the evening of 28th April at Tauranga Crossing VMax theatre. It will then play throughout New Zealand during the film festival. Anticipated to be a sell-out screening!

A very special thanks to Graeme Murray the videographer behind the creation of this extraordinary film.
