When the call went out from Lakes District Health Board (LDHB) to develop a resuscitation space at the Rotorua Hospital Emergency Department into a relaxing, comfortable room for palliative care patients, at DCA Architects we instantly put our hand up to contribute professional services and utilise our industry contacts:

All the materials and labour were sourced at minimal to no cost by DCA, to ensure there was absolutely zero cost to LDHB for the project.
The room features a soothing interior colour scheme and a serene image, looking across Lake Tarawera as the sun rises over Mount Tarawera.
